JIMMY J. KANG, M.D., M.B.A.

Neuroradiology and Musculoskeletal Radiology

Dr. Jimmy Kang joined the Hill Medical Corporation in 2010. He has been a vital part of the Neuroradiology and Musculoskeletal Imaging sections of the corporation in addition to providing high quality general diagnostic radiology interpretations for our patients.

Dr. Kang earned his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Harvard University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with High Honors.  He earned his MD degree from Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York. Dr. Kang earned an MBA with dual specializations in Healthcare Management and Finance from Johns Hopkins University where he was selected as a Dean’s Scholarship recipient and awarded the Edward J Stegman Award for graduating ranked #1 in his class.

Dr. Kang completed his Radiology Residency at Harvard Medical School/Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He completed a 2-year fellowship in Neuroradiology at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital where he served as Chief Fellow and held an appointment as Instructor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Kang is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology and holds a subspecialty certificate of additional qualification in Neuroradiology.

Dr. Kang has research experience at multiple institutions including Harvard Medical School/Boston Children’s Hospital and The Moffitt Cancer Center and co-authored multiple papers and presentations. He currently serves as a research collaborator at the Huntington Medical Research Institutes (HMRI).
